Television Information

Cricket matches will be televised by the Host Broadcaster at two of the six grounds in use for the Commonwealth Games, namely the PKNS Ground and the Kilat Club. A total of 12 matches will be televised. While the live video feed of these matches will be available to all TV networks covering the Games, this does not necessarily mean that all or part of each game will go to air live. Cricket is one of fifteen sports taking part at the Commonwealth Games and local networks in each country will normally be giving priority to gold medal events, especially those where their own athletes are competing. The official opening ceremony of the Games is on September 11, two days after the cricket competition begins.
