The first recorded evidence of cricket being played in Hong Kong dates back to 1841. Today, cricket is fully-fledged sport that is professionally administered by the Hong Kong Cricket Association and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Competitions are organised throughout the year for all age groups - from primary school children to senior players.
